Fall Baseball/Softball
Fall 2023 Baseball/Softball Registration will open July 1, 2023
The City of Lake Saint Louis, Dardenne Prairie, New Melle, and Wentzville Parks and Recreation Departments have joined together to offer a recreational fall baseball/softball league. This league only offers team registration. For 7U and above, games will be played during the week at Lake Saint Louis, Dardenne Prairie, New Melle, and Wentzville fields. See below on specifics of when teams will practice and when games will be played.
League Play
The 8 game season will start late August or early September. Teams registered through LSL will play their homes games at Founders Park and will play a minimum of half their games at home; away games will be played at any of the cites listed above including LSL. Games will be played Monday through Friday at either 6:00 PM or 8:00 PM and game length can be found in the rule book below. There will be occasions where teams will play 2 games in one week. This league is preparation for the next spring season so it is recommended to play one age level higher than you did in the spring (ex. 8U in spring plays 9U in fall). This helps prepare the kids for the new distances and rules they’ll see next year. Score/Standings will not be kept. To find your team's schedule or directions to the field you’re playing at visit the NHYBL website at www.quickscores.com/nhybl..

Practices
Practices for this league will begin the week of August 14th. Teams will be given 1 scheduled practice per week (1.5 hours) included with registration fee, and those practices will be held on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday only.
If you have any questions, please email Chrparks@lakesaintlouis.comis White.
Team Registration Fees
A full roster of 10 to 15 players is required for this registration. Team registration gives coaches with full teams the advantage of not having extra players added to their team. The coach will register his/her team and will need to complete a team roster (PDF) that will be collected by the League Supervisor no later than the first game. All teams registering for this league must provide their own uniforms. The only uniform requirement for New Horizons is that each player has a 6 inch number on the back of his/her shirt.
- $850 per team
The league's format is for teams to play up in the fall from what they played in the spring. (8U in the spring plays 9U in the fall)
REGISTER A TEAM for the 2022 youth spring baseball or softball season. Deadline to register is August 7th or until full.
