You have been cordially invited to pay tribute to those who paid for our freedom with the breath of life itself. In keeping with a tradition and true spirit of the importance of honoring the brave American’s who gave their lives for our country in the armed forces, the Lake Saint Louis Veteran’s Committee is presenting a patriotic and solemn Memorial Day Ceremony. This year’s Memorial Day Service will be held on Monday, May 27th at 9 a.m. at Lake Saint Louis Veteran’s Memorial Park. The park is directly adjacent to the Lake Saint Louis City Hall and Police Department at the intersection of Interstate 64/U.S. 40 and Lake Saint Louis Boulevard.
This one hour ceremony will feature patriotic musical selections by the Choral Arts Singers along with enthusiastic participation by the Boy and Girl Scouts, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Knights of Columbus. In keeping with the honored traditions of past ceremonies, the Air Force ROTC-Detachment 207 will join with the Color Guard of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 10350 in honoring our flag.
