Parks and Recreation - Facility Guidelines COVID 19

  1. Covid-19 poses a serious risk to individuals. Best practice outlined by the Center for Disease and Prevention will help guide us, as the City begins opening up its amenities. Everyone can do their part in helping us respond to the health care emergency. In Missouri, there are currently no limitations on social gatherings as long as necessary precautions are taken and six feet of distance can be maintained between individuals and/or families.
  2. Considering this planned resumption of activities, the Lake Saint Louis Parks and Recreation Department will not be requiring cancelations of existing reservations for shelters and facility rentals. At this time, and until further notice, all playgrounds and the splash pad will remain closed. If your event can not meet the guidelines, or would like to cancel for any reason, a full refund will be issued. Please understand this is a fluid situation. If State and/or County guidelines change prior to your event, cancelations may be required, or guidelines may be less restrictive.
  3. In the interests of public health, we are asking everyone to think about your event and provide a plan for how the event will follow social distancing guidelines. This information will be reviewed and compared to the guidelines expected to be in effect at the time of the event. Failure to submit proper information requested by this addendum may result in revocation or denial of your rental. Please complete the section describing your plan, sign the waiver form, and submit to: parks@lakesaintlouis.com, no later than 10 days prior to your event. If you wish to cancel and receive a full refund, simply send an email to the aforementioned email address and staff will contact you with an Electronic Funds Transfer form, or issue refund to your credit card.
  4. Thank you for your time. We look forward to serving you now and in the future. – Lake Saint Louis Parks and Recreation Department
