Town Hall Meeting - Downtown Lakefront Overlay District (includes Edgewater Condominiums) - the City will hold an open meeting at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 9th to discuss the Overlay District.  The meeting will be held at City Hall, 200 Civic Center Drive.  The Mayor, Board of Aldermen and City staff will be in attendance to answer your questions about the Overlay District.  See the link below for a copy of the Overlay District ordinance. 

Arbor Day Celebration a Success - thanks to all the people that came out and enjoyed Saturday, April 26th with us. We learned alot about tree care and we celebrated our trees with song, food and planting.

Veterans Memorial Park - the grand opening will be held on Saturday, May 17th at 10:00 AM.  This new park is located next to the Civic Center, 200 Civic Center Drive. 

Garage Sale Regulations - as spring approaches the City would like to remind everyone of the regulations concerning garage sales.

Utility Tax Refunds for 2008 - the Board of Aldermen recently approved a utility tax refund program.  The first year with the program will be 2008, with the refunds actually paid in early 2009.
